On October 25, 2022, Electronic Times Internet ran a piece on KMF&KME 2022 (Korea Metaverse Festival & K-Metaverse Expo 2022), hosted by Korea's Ministry of Science and ICT and organized by the National IT Industry Promotion Agency (NIPA). The event ran October 13-15 that year at COEX and marked its sixth edition. The article took the form of on-site interviews with companies exhibiting at the pavilion.

The venue in question was the NIPA Metaverse Specialist Company Pavilion, operated by the Next Generation Convergence Content Industry Association. Six companies appeared on the roster - Dooriburn, The Crossing Lab, MetaBuild, SwatchOn, Clickt and Fluxcity - with The Crossing Lab annotated as working on an art-centered metaverse social platform. Each company answered the same three questions, covering trends, competitive strengths and expectations from the show.

Asked about trends, The Crossing Lab pointed to how exhibitions and events had shifted online in the wake of the pandemic. Reasoning that platforms had become the decisive layer for handling that demand, the company said it was building its business around an open architecture rather than a closed one.

For competitive strengths it named two things: visual fidelity close to the original artwork, and a social layer in which viewing is not a one-off event but a space where users talk with artists and sustain arts and culture communities. On the show itself, the company cited exchanges with fellow metaverse firms and firsthand contact with public interest, adding that the experience helped sharpen 'One Of Us,' its metaverse gallery service then still in preparation.
