The Crossing Lab was named to the Korea-China economic delegation assembled around President Lee Jae-myung's state visit to China. The company attended the Korea-China Business Forum held on January 5 at Diaoyutai in Beijing, alongside leaders of Korea's largest companies including Samsung Electronics chairman Lee Jae-yong, SK Group chairman Chey Tae-won, Hyundai Motor Group chairman Chung Euisun, LG Group chairman Koo Kwang-mo, SM Entertainment CEO Jang Cheol-hyuk and Krafton CEO Kim Chang-han.

Two memorandums of understanding followed from the forum. The first is with the culture arm of Tsinghua Holdings, covering the production and global promotion of a virtual version of a science fiction theme park. Rather than simply publicizing the offline park, the two sides will jointly plan and build a virtual version, a digital twin, that can be experienced and spread independently in a digital environment. Expanding virtual content around the company's core SF intellectual property, MARS WAR, is the stated goal. The article puts the project at more than 6 trillion won in scale, with room to grow to as much as 20 trillion won.

The second agreement is with the Zhongguancun Enterprise Seoul Service Representative Office. Zhongguancun, in northwestern Beijing, is China's largest high-tech industrial cluster and is often called China's Silicon Valley. The two sides will cooperate on education, startups and media art, with SuperPlat at the center.

CEO Shin Ji-ho said the agreements were meaningful and that SuperPlat would serve as a bridge between Korea and China for cultural content and technological innovation. SuperPlat is an AI virtual interaction content platform where users create their own AI persona, talk with AI virtual characters, and enjoy interactive stories and social experiences in 3D spaces. Its official launch is set for the first half of 2026.
